The Functional medicine model evolved from the realization that there was a need for an individualized approach to disease. Through a more thorough and individualized assessment we can implement low-risk interventions that actually allow for modifications at the molecular and cellular level in order to reverse disease processes.
The simple definition: Identifying the root cause of disease rather than just applying a band-aid (i.e. through pharmaceuticals or surgeries, etc). We recognize the importance of rapid relief and while we work together to find the missing pieces to the puzzle there are a number of ways we help patients find relief in their symptoms. The process can often take longer however the results and relief can last a lifetime.

For those looking only for a Functional Medicine approach to care we offer al a carte options just for you, whether to just help you address specific problems or to just have a partner in your health journey.
Initial consultation generally 60-75 minutes: $300
A comprehensive first visit designed to understand the full picture of your health. We will review your medical history, current symptoms, lifestyle, nutrition, medications and supplements, previous labs, and health goals. Together, we will identify potential underlying contributors to your symptoms and develop an individualized plan, including recommendations for conventional or specialty laboratory testing when appropriate
Monthly Membership (recommended): $125/month with a minimum 3 month commitment.
Our Functional Medicine Membership is designed for patients who would like ongoing support and access between scheduled visits while working through their health concerns.
Functional medicine often involves adjustments over time as symptoms change, laboratory results become available, and treatment plans evolve. Membership provides the continuity and access needed for this type of ongoing care.
Membership includes secure messaging for clinical questions, treatment-plan guidance, medication and supplement questions, review of progress between visits, and reasonable adjustments to your established plan when they can be safely managed through messaging.
Some concerns may still require a scheduled visit when they are too complex to appropriately or safely address through messaging and this is included in the monthly membership.
Patients who prefer not to enroll in membership are always welcome to schedule individual Functional Medicine visits as needed.
Your consultation includes the evaluation, recommendations, and treatment plan discussed during your scheduled appointment. Ongoing clinical management between visits is not included with pay-per-visit care.
You may still use secure messaging for brief administrative needs, prescription or pharmacy issues, and clarification of instructions from your most recent visit.
Questions involving new symptoms, new laboratory results, changes to medications or supplements, treatment recommendations, or continued management of an ongoing condition will require a scheduled follow-up visit.
This structure allows patients to choose the level of support that best fits their needs while ensuring that adequate time is dedicated to providing thoughtful and individualized medical care.
Membership may be the better fit if you: anticipate needing regular guidance between visits, are completing a more involved functional medicine treatment plan, expect multiple treatment adjustments, or prefer easier access to your provider as questions arise.
Pay-per-visit care may be the better fit if you: primarily want a comprehensive consultation and treatment plan and are comfortable scheduling follow-up appointments whenever additional clinical guidance is needed.
**Cost includes thorough evaluations and interviews. Discounted functional medicine labs (i.e. GI Map, DUTCH testing (hormones), Food Allergy/sensitivity testing, Mold testing, toxic metals testing, etc.)
DPC members will receive 50% for these visits in addition to their monthly DPC membership.
